A journey rooted in connection

Massage Therapist / Hypnotist

I was raised in Toronto and spent many summers surrounded by the beauty of the Azores, Portugal. From an early age, I was drawn to people, connection, and helping others. That interest has shaped both my personal journey and professional path.

I earned an Honours degree in Sociology, which deepened my understanding of how relationships, families, communities, cultures, environments, and life experiences shape who we become. It taught me to look beyond the surface, listen with curiosity, and recognize each person’s unique story.

My curiosity about the human experience also led me to explore the subconscious mind and become a certified hypnotist. I was fascinated by the idea that our thoughts, beliefs, and deeply rooted patterns can influence the way we experience our lives—and that, with the right tools, we can create meaningful change.

I later worked in group homes with children and youth with brain-based disabilities, supporting them through everyday life, personal needs, challenges, and accomplishments. I loved being part of their world and helping wherever I was needed. That experience strengthened my belief in meeting people with patience, respect, compassion, and without judgment.

With an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to create a life that leaves room for both purpose and family, I eventually found my way to massage therapy.

I have always been fascinated by the relationship between the body, mind, and overall sense of well-being. I believe there is something deeply powerful about human touch. Touch can communicate safety, presence, and care in ways that words sometimes cannot. It can invite us to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and simply be. This belief inspired me to pursue massage therapy and create a peaceful treatment space in my home in Pointe-Calumet.

A Place to Pause...

My approach is rooted in presence, intention, and connection. I wanted to create a space that feels warm, natural, and welcoming—a place where you can slow down, take a breath, and reconnect with yourself.

I have always had an artistic and creative side as well. I love working with my hands and finding beauty in natural elements. My love for crystals has become an important part of that creative side. Alongside my massage practice, I sell crystals and offer a selection of handcrafted creations, including crystal jewellery and rosaries that I make with love and intention.

Whether through touch, creativity, or simply creating a welcoming environment, I love finding meaningful ways to bring beauty, connection, and intention into everyday life.

Having recently moved from Toronto, I am excited to become part of the Pointe-Calumet community. I speak English and Portuguese and am looking forward to learning French and, eventually, Spanish as well.

Outside of my work, I cherish time with my family and the people I love. I also have a deep love for animals, and they are part of my home environment.

This space is an extension of who I am and the journey that brought me here.

A place for connection.

A place for stillness.

A place to come back to yourself.

Welcome to my space.

Casa Da Alma

Massothérapie

The name Casa da Alma means House of the Soul in Portuguese.

I chose this name because it holds a very personal meaning for me. “Casa da Alma” is a phrase my Portuguese grandmother often used, and although she is no longer here, I still feel deeply connected to her and to the memories, traditions, and sense of home that she gave me.

For me, Casa da Alma represents more than a physical space. It is a reflection of my roots, my love for connection, and my belief that caring for ourselves involves the body, mind, and soul.

I wanted to create a space that feels like an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and feel cared for—a place where a little piece of my own story and heritage can live on.
